On a ceremony last Wednesday  in Copenhagen Boyum IT was presented with the "SAP Business One SME Partner of the Year Award 2008" , Denmark.

Boyum IT received the award in recognition of outstanding Revenue results and an impressive number of new customers in the Danish market.

The SAP Partner Award is given to honor the best national partners on the ERP system market for small and medium sized businesses.

“Only six month ago Boyum IT was recognized as the world’s best SAP Business One Software Solution Partner 2008 and by receiving this award we have also been recognized for our excellent sales and consulting skills. The whole team of Boyum IT is very delighted to receive this new award from SAP and we believe that by this award we have proven to the SAP market that Boyum IT is a “complete" SAP partner and that we have all the necessary skills to provide outstanding solutions to our customers. The potential for next year is excellent", says Niels Hermansen, COO/Partner from Boyum IT.

As more and more customers are now running SBO2007A or SBO2007B, and given the advantages it gives to run these versions, the B1UP development team will soon make the B1 Usability Package SBO2007 specific.

Doing this will give us/you the following advantages:

• We will be able to work with the new connection methods in 2007 giving you a better connection experience.
• We will be able to support MS-SQL Server 2008 (As it is only support by add-ons created on a 2007 machines).
• We will be able to support Windows Server 2008.
• Less testing requirements for us (= more new exciting functionality to you!).
• And much more...

Therefore the B1 Usability Package will stop development for SAP Business One 2005A SP01 and SBO2005B in May 2009, and versions from this point and forward will only be able to be installed on SBO2007A and SBO2007B.
Older version will of cause still be available and should any major flaws be found in the previous versions, we will still be able to fix these, but all new development will be aimed at the new versions.
