We hereby present our newsletter for February 2009.

Today we release the first version of B1UP in 2009 (Version 3.0.5.0). Before you install this version (and future versions) with your customer, please make sure that you have paid the 2009 Maintenance Fee for the customer, which was sent to you as an invoice in December 2008.

Without a paid maintenance fee, your customer will not be able to run B1UP releases made in 2009).
(Last valid version to run on the 2008 Maintenance is 3.0.4.0)

Should you upgrade anyway without a valid license you will at startup receive an error saying that you are not entitled to run this version and it will state the last valid version. In such a scenario you will need to either pay the maintenance fee or downgrade to 3.0.4.0.
(NB: It is not possible in any way to get a license extended because of missed maintenance fee payment!)

Please also note that customers who have not paid their maintenance fee are not entitled to receive support via support@boyum-it.com

If you have questions regarding this, or are unsure if you customer have paid the maintenance fee, please do one or more of the following:

• Read the License Administration guide (Page 2) provided with the install package for more information
• Go to Administration > Add-ons > B1 Usability Package > License Administration (Check Allowed version and if it is 3.0.5.0 or higher you have already paid the fee)
• Send an email to support@boyum-it.com to confirm you license

NB: As a reseller you are of cause entitled to running the new versions automatically.
