Post B1 8.8 with Windows 2008 server
Hi I've run into a strange issue with 8.8 and the latest version of B1UP 3.4.0 where my IPT is thrown all over the place, and the ADD/CANCEL/COPY TO buttons are missing from the base of the windows for Sales Orders/Sales Opps/AR Invoices etc.

Even when I modify the fonts (as suggested in other topics) this does not solve the problem with the missing buttons, nor does it move the IPT's back into their original spots (as they appeared when programmed in using SAPB1 2007A PL47.

Is there a known fix or something that I can do?

Thanks in advance for your help.

This is a known problem for 8.8 since SAP increased the default width and height for all windows... In the downloaded install bit of B1UP is a 8.8 migration document explaining this problem and how to get rid of it...

Thanks Rasmus, I see what you mean. When I edit the form setting sizes on the Function Buttons, it gives me back my system buttons. But my IPT items are still all mangled. Any quick fix for this one?? Please say yes.

Some of them might need to be replaced/reconfigured ... again all windows in 8.8 is higher and for that reason fields below mid-point of the screens need to be further down....

There is also rumors of a bug in PL12 + 13 about problems with placement of items but I have not yet been able to confirm this... Are you running one of these versions...

Thanks for your reply. Although I am not pleased with this solution to manually go through our 100+ IPT placed fields, I have no other choice.

We are running/testing 8.8 PL11 at the moment.

Hi

I'm afriad there is little we can do... SAP is good to be backward compatible, but they do allow themself to change the layout of their windows in order to bring new/enchanced features, and I it is any comfort this is the first major change I have seen them do layout wise in 5+ years so such needed cahnges are normally extreemly rare...
